Crytek say Ryse is still in the works

However, it may miss the out on a 2013 launch.

First revealed in 2011 at E3, Ryse looked to be one of the biggest ventures of any developer. In an interview with OXM, Crytek CEO Cevat Yerli said;

“We’re are on track with all our plans. The game is really shaping up well, but that’s pretty much all I can say at the moment.”

When asked if Ryse would be out during 2013 he replied;

“I don’t know”

While this doesn’t give any clear confirmation of a launch date, judging by how good the game looks, and Crytek’s reputation with amazing looking games – could this perhaps be a Kinect title for the next-gen consoles?
